Who Am I? | A Post While in Quarantine

While the world is currently undergoing a pandemic, many people have been continuing their studies online and working from home. It is highly unfortunate and tragic but as functioning people, we cannot allow this pandemic to overtake our daily lives and tasks. So, I figured that since I have been working while being quarantined at home, I'd take a break from my studies and answer this fun Q&A list, just to get to know me a little more in depth.

1. Tell me the 3 best things about you. hmm, best? i dunno...but if i were to say, i would say that i'm organized, good with time management, and very giving (i enjoy giving gifts to people!)
2. On a scale of 1-10, how strict are/were your parents? right now, they are about a 5 or 6. but, when i was younger, they were about an 8 or a 9 because...asian parents.
3. Who was your worst teacher? Why? i won't say names, but i had a math teacher back in high school who, in my opinion, was rude and unprofessional. she insulted her students and even threatened to slap a student out of frustration.
4. Who was your favorite teacher? Why? i had many, so it's hard to say.
5. Which would you pick: being world-class attractive, a genius or famous for doing something great? a genius.
6. Who are the 3 greatest living musicians? i have too many to count, LOL.
7. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? be more assertive/extroverted/socially outgoing.
8. What was your favorite toy growing up? ty beanie babies!
9. Name 3 celebrities you most admire. well, i have 4: hugh laurie, keanu reeves, tom hanks, bill gates.
10. Name a celebrity you think is lame. aaron carter (his behavior on social media says a lot, so you'll see why.)
11. What accomplishment are you most proud of? getting my associate's, bachelor's, and on my way to achieve a master's!
12. Which of your friends are you proudest of? Why? i'm proud of all of them. ^_^
13. What's the most beautiful place you've ever been? jinhua, china. the rural area is breathtaking and the skies/waters are crystal-clear.
14. What are your 3 favorite movies? it varies. but, right now, it's Spirited Away, Mulan (1998 Disney ver.), and V for Vendetta.
15. How would you describe me to your friends? introverted, shy, a little quirky/weird.
16. Which historical figure would you like to be? sigmund freud.
17. What's the right age to get married? as long as you are over 21.
18. Tell me 3 things you remember about kindergarten. colorful walls, play-doh, playground.
19. What paper that you've written are you most proud of? a paper that i wrote during my first semester in grad school, because i could highly relate to it.
20. What would you do if you were invisible for a day? probably go inside stores, and take stuff and money. 😅
21. Who would you like to live like for a day? paris hilton, ahaha.
22. If you could time travel, where would you go? back to the 1980s or 1990s.
23. If you could live in any TV home, what would it be? probably Friends.
24. What's your favorite ice cream flavor? cookies 'n cream.
25. Would you rather live for a week in the past or the future? past. i'm such a nostalgic person.
26. What's your most embarrassing childhood memory? when i was around 4 or 5, i peed in my pants during a Bible study class.
27. What's your best childhood memory? going on outings and camping with family & friends.

29. If you could eat only 3 foods for the rest of your life, what would they be? caesar salad, poke bowls, chips.

32. What's one choice you really regret? not really knowing what i wanted to do in college.

35. Do you feel like a leader or a follower? mm, more of a loner, haha.
36. If you could ask your pet 3 questions, what would they be? she's deceased. :(
37. What's the most courageous thing you've ever done? standing up for myself and leaving a toxic first relationship.
38. Who would play you in a movie of your life? i get a lot of comments saying that i look like either park shin-hye or moon geun-young, who are both korean actresses.
39. If you could be an Olympic athlete, in what sport would you compete? taekwondooo.
40. If you had to live in a different state, what would it be? arizona or nevada.
41. What living person, other than family members, do you most admire? my girlfriends. they all have endured rough times, but have managed to pick themselves up and become strong again. 💪
42. What has been your favorite family vacation? 2010 summer trip to south korea.
43. If you could choose your own nickname, what would it be? i already have one! chrissy.
44. Who is the funniest person you know? my partner-in-crime, albert. he is just so adorably awkward and naive. 
45. What's your favorite thing about one of your grandparents? my grandma from my dad's side. she was a widow/single mother who raised 3 kids by herself and later on immigrated to the states to help raise her grandchildren. she was my superwoman. 💝
46. Tell the person to your right your favorite thing about them. noone is next to me, haha.
47. Do you ever talk to yourself? When and what do you say? no, but i sing to myself when i'm in the shower or driving in my car.
48. When you're having a bad day, what do you do to make yourself feel better? definitely write in my journal/diary, listen to music, or even take walks outside.
49. Which TV family is most like your own? sadly, i don't watch tv as much anymore.
50. What's your favorite smell in the whole world? the inside smell of a brand new car, loll.
51. What do you think is the greatest invention of all time? smartphones.
52. Using one word, how would you describe your family? sentimental.

67. What's your dream job? senior copywriter or editor creating quality content and working in a nice corporate office. sigh.

70. What's the best part about having siblings? i'm not alone, and i get to share my deepest thoughts and feelings.
71. What is the scariest movie you've ever seen? i've seen my share of horror movies but the movies that scarred me as a child were Child's Play, Mars Attacks!, and Scream.
72. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be? south korea, taiwan, and hawaii.
73. What is your favorite family tradition? going out for korean food on weekends or birthdays.

75. What trait do you like the most about yourself? i have pretty good organizational skills and pop culture knowledge.

79. What's the first thing you do when you get home from a trip? unpack.

89. What do you like to do on a rainy day? stay at home, listen to music, watch movies on my laptop, write in my journal/diary, tidy up my room & house.

91. What is your favorite thing about the beach? not really a beach person, but i do enjoy the sunset and the sound of the waves.
92. If you could be anywhere else right now, where would it be? las vegass.

94. Which of the Seven Dwarfs is most like you? probably a cross between bashful and sleepy, lol.
95. If someone made a movie of your life would it be a drama, a comedy, a romantic-comedy, action film, or science fiction? drama.

97. If you were guaranteed to be successful in a different profession, what would you want to do? detective/law enforcement so that i can kick ass and fight crime. ✊
98. As a child, what did you wish to become when you grew up? a successful writer with a #1 best-selling book. 
99. What's the worst thing you did as a kid? i scratched someone else's car. my mom had to apologize for me and didn't speak to me for days.
100. What is the best part of being a part of your family? as the oldest, i'm taken more seriously than my younger sister, haha.
